Responsible for inspection, service and repair of Wet, Dry, Pre-action, Deluge and Foam systems; Testing, rebuilding and/or replacing Backflow Preventers. Responsible for identifying trouble areas and performing service in an efficient and professional manner to ensure that sprinkler systems are operating properly. We seek a self-motivated, customer service-oriented lead technician. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and a good communicator. This important position will establish a rapport and build positive relationships with our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform fire sprinkler inspections andservices per NFPA and engineering guidelines.

  • Inspect and service wet, dry, pre-action,deluge and foam systems as needed.

  • Repair and/or replace all sprinkler systemscomponents.

  • Repair, replace and rebuild backflowpreventers as necessary.

  • Report Deficiencies to Department Manager.

  • Perform disassembly, inspection and repairof sprinkler and backflow valves (once receiving license).

  • Verify proper communication with monitoringstation when working on a monitored system after repair.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years field experience inFire Sprinkler Inspections and service.

  • TQP License is a plus but not required .

  • Possess a valid driver’s license anddriving record that meets company requirements.

  • Capable of passing a pre-employmentbackground, MVR and drug test.
