Job Summary
The Fire Alarm Service Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the Fire Alarm Division. The Manager will supervise technical and administrative personnel in order to achieve any financial or operational goals. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring Fire Alarm and customer satisfaction.
Salary $30 to $45 an hour based on experience.
Job Responsibilities
Work with the General Manager to develop financial and operational goals.
Ensure the effective operation of the Fire Alarm Division and the efficiency of Fire Alarm personnel.
Establish productivity goals for technical and administrative goals that fit in with the tactical priorities of the division.
Achieve the assigned monthly goals for revenue and cost control and correct any budgetary deficiencies.
Lead the technical and administrative staff in providing a high level of customer service.
Ensure that the technical personnel are highly trained in our services and products as well as safety.
Ensure jobs setup in Service Trade, parts, and paperwork ready for the technicians.
Keep track of parts inventory.
Be sure the technician’s computers have the correct software revisions for the panels we are selling.
Send back warranty parts for credit via Notifier, ADI, etc.
Write up quotes for service work and deficiencies found during inspections.
Schedule monthly test and inspections.
Job Requirements
Possess any necessary licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes.
Minimum 3-5 years related experience either in the fire protection/fire alarm industry or the commercial customer service business.
NICET or equivalent training from manufacturers or institutions.
Working knowledge of NFPA 72.
Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications
Experience supervising employees
Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
