The Accounts Receivable Specialist manages incoming payments by properly tracking and posting them into the system to maintain accurate recordkeeping. Using professional organization and communication skills, the Accounts Receivable Specialist is to assist organization in collecting and accurately recording payments from the customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain accurate recordkeeping within Great Plains system, databases, and spreadsheets
Process daily cash applications, including Credit Card and EFT payments
Communicate with customers and within the organization to identify and process unapplied payments
Perform customer accounts reconciliations
Identify and resolve payment discrepancies
Process reports as required by management
Assist with collections
REQUIREMENTS:
HS diploma or equivalent; Associate degree is a plus
Minimum of 2+ years of previous AR experience is required
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Great Plains experience is a strong plus.
Strong attention to detail with dedication to accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage a high-volume workload with control, accuracy, and efficiency
High degree of familiarity with Accounts Receivable functions
