Position is located in Pottstown, PA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site surveys of existing fire systems (Sprinkler and Alarm) with accuracy.

  • Coordinate between trades

  • Generate fabrication and loose material lists.

  • Interaction with contractors, sales and field Technicians.

  • Compose and assemble submittal packages for contractors and townships.

  • Submit contractor registrations as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficiency in the use of AUTOCAD or equivalent software.

  • Read and understand blueprints.

  • Ability to follow directions.

  • Ability to multitask.

  • Adept at retaining information.

  • Willingness to learn.

Preferred background (not required):

  • Previous construction or engineering experience.

  • A degree in Architecture or Engineering computer aided design would be an acceptable alternative to on-the-job experience.

  • Fire protection experience (Sprinkler or Fire Alarm).

  • Prior knowledge of HASS, AutoSprink, HydraCAD or SprinkCAD.

  • NICET Certification.

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
