This position will install, service, inspect and oversee Fire Protection Systems installation for all types of new and existing projects. Projects will include Industrial, Commercial and some Residential. Can comprehend NFPA code, design/installation methods, hydraulic calculations & material lists for fire sprinkler systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand design & Layout of Fire Sprinkler Systems
Understand listing of system piping for fabrication
Coordination for installation between trades
Managing cost and understanding budgets
Managing and Leadership of Installation Crew(s)
Installation, service and inspection of Fire Protection/Sprinkler System(s)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONS
NICET certification preferred but not required
General mechanical knowledge
Experience in Fire Protection/Sprinkler Installation or Design
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Company guidelines
Successfully complete drug screen, background and reference check
Able to complete documentation and administrative duties as necessary; proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office
Oversee installation labor on assigned projects
