JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have some basic knowledge of pipefitting,and/or related plumbing regulations and fireprotection codes and standards

  • A strong interest in having the ability to understandand learn NFPA code compliant fire sprinklerinstallation through industry supported educationand on the job training with experienced andlicensed sprinkler fitters

  • Must have the ability to understand constructionblueprints and relate NFPA fire protection systemdesigns with the field installation process

  • Have the ability to work safely and gain a minimumof OSHA 10 safety certification

  • Utilizes hand tools, electrical, pneumatic andhydraulic power tools

  • Work well with other team members under thedirection of a licensed sprinkler fitter

  • Effective communication and negotiation withother construction trade personnel

  • A valid state driver's license with acceptabledriving record.

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
