Position is located in Charlotte, NC
Job Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and test fire pumps, standpipes, valves, fire hydrants, and other fire sprinkler equipment as assigned.
Perform smaller system installations and tenant finish upfits as required.
Be available for off-hour emergency service calls and the on-call schedule as directed.
Coordination for installation between trade, to include interface with fire alarm systems and providers.
Interface with customers to explain work to be performed, answer their questions, and address their concerns in a professional, knowledgeable, and respectful manner.
Accurately complete and return all field paperwork on time.
Performs other tasks and duties as requested by management.
Job Requirements:
Working knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, 20, and other standards for proper system installation and operation.
A minimum of 5 years related fire sprinkler installation and service experience.
Responsible to follow safety protocols and vehicle maintenance of the company.
Ability to take direction and work as part of a team.
Licensing:
Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.
NC Backflow Preventer Certification (Preferred)
Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
