The Accounts Payable Specialist reports to AP Manager and performs a variety of general accounts payable tasks such as processing vendor invoices and vendor reconciliations, maintaining vendor relationships, and validating various vendor documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Verify the accuracy of invoices and the supporting documents

·Accurately enters data into SaaS (MetaViewer) and ERP (Great Plains) systems

·Reconcile vendor accounts

·Assist in identifying discrepancies

·Review invoices for supporting documentation and approval prior to payment

·Answers vendor inquiries

·Assists corporate financial team and branch personnel as needed

·Effectively communicate with AP management

·Assist with other department activities as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

· 1 - 2 years of AP experience

· Working knowledge of MS applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, is preferred

·Experience with Great Plains is a preferred

·Above average verbal and written communication skills

·Ability to multi-task effectively

·Ability to meet deadlines

·Must be a team player

·Excellent attention to detail

·Must be a critical thinker and problem solver

·Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with a proven ability to work effectively with people at all levels
